Churchill Garden Club

Community gardeners shared tools among members but struggled with access and reliability. Porch pick-ups were unpredictable and items often went missing. Problems included: • No protected place for tools • Hard to coordinate • Volunteers waiting around Secondary challenge: seed sharing needed a more stable environment.

The Garden Club installed a Relai Exchange Zone to support community tool sharing. This enabled: • Organized access to shared tools • Reliable anytime pick-up • Clear accountability for returns Secondary solution: seed packets were stored in compartments for new gardeners.

Community gardening became more accessible and collaborative. Key results: • Reliable tool access • Fewer missing items • Stronger participation • Steady resource sharing
